SeeHearCollective is a joint effort of artists Žaklina Lečnik (visual art) and Renard A. Aust (sound).
They currently live and work in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Žaklina studied autonomous art at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague and at the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam. Furthermore, she has a degree in Art Therapy and studied Social History at the University of Amsterdam. In her work thus far she combined artistic expression with (health) care and has frequently worked with and supported outsider artists.
Renard holds degrees in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam and Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. He has played in and conducted ensembles ranging from free jazz to tango to contemporary classical music and composed for – amongst others – the Metropole Orchestra and the DoelenEnsemble. He shares his fascination with the act of creating music as an educator.
Since 2020 they embrace the dynamics of collaboration in their shared studio, focusing on transforming every day and universally human phenomena into artistic espression
