installation with paper sculptures, wind and music – 2024
Variations on blue tape is all about the casual movement of air that brushes along paper sculptures, setting them in Motion.
The way the spectator connects those movements with the rhythm and sound of the music is playful and never exactly the same, adding an Element of improvisation to the installation.
The artwork thus references the artists’ roots in and love for jazz music.
There are currently two versions for the music of this installation – layered clarinets and layered pianos. It is up to the spectator to decide which one fits best: is it the percussive sounds of the piano or the airy tones of the windinstrument.
